Convenient location
Midcoast Pediatrics is a privately owned practice conveniently located on the second floor of the medical office building at Mid Coast Hospital. Our location allows for easy patient access to pharmacy, laboratory, and radiology services. Our office offers a pleasant, child-friendly environment with a playroom.
Easy telephone availability
When calling Midcoast Pediatrics you will reach one of our helpful staff members, not an answering machine with menu options. After hours callers will receive a message telling them exactly how to reach the doctor on call. During weekdays parents and patients may speak directly with a Registered Nurse Monday through Friday from 10:30am until 4:00pm. In addition, parents may speak with a doctor on weekends and holidays from 8:30-9:00am and on Sundays from 1:30-2:00pm.
Extended office hours
Midcoast Pediatrics is open seven days a week including holidays. Our regular hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Parents may call after 7:30am to schedule an appointment.
Early morning walk-in time
Walk-In time is available weekdays from 6:45am until 7:15am for established patients who are ill and cannot wait for an appointment later in the day. Patients may walk in without an appointment during this time. Parents may call for an evening appointment for their ill child who cannot wait until the next day to be seen. Someone is available to take your call by 7:30 am for weekend and holiday appointments. Please call early to make your appointment. It is important to note that an additional fee is charged for the above times.
